Review:

A  very good win against Camberley’s Old Rivals.  This was my first game as a spectator for some time (I have been a bit sick!) and I asked the team to win for me – they did and did it well!

Ady Kyle ’s comments: A great result from the lads today beating London Irish 22 - 11. Thanks to all the parents and players not selected to play for supporting the lads during the game and a speedy recovery to Freddy Busby, Max Brown, Freddy Oliver, Will Filbin and John Randall who are all out through injuries.

My comments:  I agree it was an excellent result against a  very good team.  The major positive was our defence.  We did not allow them into the game.  As can be seen by the scorers, this was a forwards game and our  pack simply dominated them!   Our kicking played into this authority..  Our set piece scrums and line-outs simply kept possession for us throughout the game.  There was some excellent covering tackles by Scot T and Subod to keep them returning the ball to us every time we gave it to them. We need to work on this even more – getting the forwards there even quicker.
